Please share ALL this information with your parents/guardians. Please thank them for bringing you into this world and also bringing you to school. Please read this entire packet front to back, multiple times. Please decide which workshops you would like to attend and which shows you want to see. Check to see what conflicts. Items in black are non-negotiable. If you have any other questions, transportation to/from school issues, whatever... PLEASE COMMUNICATE!

Tell your parents to be expecting Texts
What to Wear:
· There are LOTS of dance/movement workshops (yeay!) so wear or bring clothes and shoes you can move in.
· Friday evening includes an awards dinner which is a classier event. Bring clothes to change into.
· I do not know if we will have our Red Red Shoes Shirts in time L Please bring your Thrasher Theater shirt Thursday AND Friday
· The weather forecast is currently High of 65, no rain for both days. But its TN so… layer! I do not know how much we will be outside.
What NOT to bring:
-Bad attitude -Anything not allowed at McGavock (weapons, drugs, tobacco, JUULs, … etc….I know you won’t I just have to say it.) - Excessive Cash/ Valuables -Clothes that do not meet MNPS Dress Code (dance clothes are an exception but don’t go crazy…) -Political attire, information, etc. (Not the time, not the place) What to Bring:
-Notebook and pen for taking notes! -Folder to keep up with all the handouts! -Snacks, Water bottle, Munchie Money -Cards/ Games/ books for downtime/travel time -Phone Charger -$$$ for merch, snacks, bribes (Jk on the last one) -Backpack/ Bag -Rain Jacket/ Umbrella/ weather appropriate attire - Change of clothes for the awards dinner Friday Night
-If you are a Tech/ Design person, there is a workshop about how to create a portfolio. It wouldn’t be a terrible idea to have examples/photos of your work . If you are going to submit a technical portfolio at ThesCon in January I suggest you attend this workshop!
-A great attitude and flexible spirit! We want the message of our show to be apparent in our behavior and in all our interactions throughout the conference. Make them wonder what awesome stuff is going on at McGavock that has created such a loving, accepting, encouraging group of people.
MERCH: I imagine there will be Merch for sale. T-shirts, plays, etc. If that’s your thing, bring some cash.
FOOD:
Everyone’s favorite topic. The only meal included with our TTA registration fees is the awards dinner Friday Night. Our AWESOME MCGAVOCK THEATER BOOSTERS are in discussions about how/what to feed y’all. They may be able to cover some meals but anticipate the need to feed yourself. I know you guys eat everything, all the time, always, so prepare for your appetite. I will send updates when I know more.
